Baie Sainte Anne is the main village and ferry port on the east side of Praslin, the practical heart of the island. It is where the fast ferry from Mahé and La Digue docks, and where much of the island's daily business happens. For a buyer, it means a home close to transport, shops and services rather than a pure holiday address.
About Baie Sainte Anne, Praslin
The setting
A working east-coast bay and harbour, the arrival point for the inter-island ferries and the administrative centre of Praslin. Less postcard than Côte d'Or, more connected to real island life.
What sells here
Homes and apartments aimed at people who live on Praslin year round or want an easy, well-connected base, generally at more grounded prices than the north-coast resort strip.
Getting there
This is the ferry hub, so it is the easiest point on Praslin to reach Mahé and La Digue, and the island road links it to Côte d'Or and Grand Anse in around fifteen minutes.
