Grand Anse Property Guide, Praslin

Grand Anse is the long beach and settlement on the south coast of Praslin, close to the island airport. More of a working, lived-in part of the island than the resort strip of Côte d'Or, it offers a broad ocean-facing beach, a real community and generally better value for a buyer who does not need to be on the prime north coast.

About Grand Anse, Praslin

The setting

A wide south-facing beach open to the ocean, so the water is livelier than the sheltered north. The district behind it is residential and practical, one of the main centres of everyday life on Praslin.

What sells here

Homes, apartments and hillside houses at prices below Côte d'Or, appealing to buyers who want a Praslin base with more house for the money and less holiday-strip polish.

Getting there

Grand Anse is a couple of minutes from Praslin's airport and connected across the island by the main road to Baie Sainte Anne and Côte d'Or, each around fifteen minutes away.

Buying from abroad. A foreign purchase anywhere in Seychelles needs a government sanction and has to clear the price thresholds. See our buyer guide for the full process.
